	<title>Sugar Sensitive</title>
	<description>
Sugar sensitivity is the premise that some people are genetically unable to handle sugar well. Problems stemming from this include depression, overeating, headaches, tiredness, anger and many more. Some people are addicted to sugar, so if they are Sugar Sensitive, trying not to eat sugar is like telling a drug addict to simply stop taking their drug. Why? Because sugar addiction affects the same biochemical systems in your body as highly addictive drugs. Without sugar or simple carbohydrates, you can experience withdrawals just like a drug addict.

Surprisingly, too much sugar does not cause diabetes. However, it can lead to obesity, which does cause diabetes. And too much sugar has long been known to cause tooth decay. In fact, many people have teeth that are Sugar Sensitive.

Think You're Sugar Sensitive?
If you think you might be Sugar Sensitive, chances are you eat a lot of sugary snacks during the day, and/or you prefer potatoes, pasta, bread and rice, you have a tendency to have high blood pressure, when you gain weight it's around your waist, it's hard for you to lose weight, and a score of other conditions. This sends your blood sugar soaring up then crashing down all throughout the day, and eventually you could become Sugar Sensitive. There are things you can do to change it, starting with watching your intake of carbs. A low carbohydrate diet will surely get your blood sugar under control, but you have to be so careful when choosing one. Low carb diets that are too restrictive will be hard for you to stick with, and unrealistic. Plus, the low carb diets that only allow you to have 60 grams of carbs a day during ongoing weight loss are not healthy if you follow them for a long time. Be sure you understand the risks of these diets.

Your best option is to go on a diet like the South Beach diet, Sugar Busters or the Zone diet. These diets emphasize eating good carbs (complex carbohydrates) instead of bad carbs (simple carbohydrates). Complex carbs don't send your blood sugar up and down throughout the day like a roller coaster. Instead, they have fiber to keep you feeling full and reduce your cravings for sugar. Learn about different low carb diets and how to cope with being Sugar Sensitive by reading our site. You'll be glad you did.
