Low Carb Diet Plan
Are you on a low carb diet plan? If so, should you be? It all depends on how you do it.
Staying Healthy on a Low Carb Diet Plan
When it comes to low carb diet plans, there's a right way and a wrong way to do them. It's bad enough that most of these diets don't allow much in the way of fruit and vegetables. That in and of itself makes it kind of questionable. But, lots of people have lost lots of weight by following a low carb diet plan. Studies have shown that losing even 10% of your body weight can help improve your health, but you need to keep it off, too.
If you think you know how a low carb diet plan works and you start one without knowing which one you're on, you can end up doing a hodge-podge of different low carb diets, which might work, but it will have negative consequences on your health. The best thing we can suggest is that you choose which low carb diet plan you want to go on, then buy the book for that diet and follow the instructions to the letter! Why? Because most of these diets know there are nutritional flaws in the plan, so they advise you to take supplements. Although getting vitamins, minerals and other nutrients through the foods you eat is best, supplements will suffice. Just be prepared to take a big handful of these supplements every day. Some of them are pretty big, so if necessary, take some in the morning and some in the afternoon to avoid having to take so many all at once.
In addition to telling you what supplements to take, the book that goes with the particular low carb diet plan you choose probably also has advice about exercising on a low carb diet, low carb recipes, and sample menus. It will also likely have a guide so that you know which foods are low carb diet foods. And, of course, it will give you lots and lots of advice.
So, if you must be on a low carb diet, at least take the time to do it right.
